Andrew Sentance CBE
Former Economic Advisor for Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committe, served Senior Advisor with PwC, and Cambridge Econometrics. He continues to broadcast and write.

Philip Brown
Phil, one of the charity’s co-founders, was previously Managing Partner in a City law firm. He now volunteers weekly at a Law Centre and is a passionate believer in re-skilling women. He strongly believes in giving women new skills through training.
Dr Laurie Green
Co-founder Laurie has a breadth of international experience, and continues regularly to visit our Indian projects. As well as extensive experience as a Trustee, Laurie has published widely, including books on globalisation and poverty.
John Wilde
John worked in insurance for 49 years. Our Treasurer since 2019, he has over 20 years experience as Treasurer of a local charity.
James Burgess
Jim, originally an accountant, is currently Chairman and Managing Director of a company engaged in projects and the sale of Flour Milling Equipment. Travelling worldwide, his previous charity work has included mission schooling in the Gambia & Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
Simon Bell
An accountant, Simon worked in the City for 20 years before before setting up his own accountancy practice 10 years ago. As well as working with charities professionally, he has been Treasurer of a local charity in Kelvedon, Essex for over 10 years.
Gill Hopkins
With a background in education and training Gill is passionate about enabling those in difficult circumstances to fulfil their potential. She has travelled widely and met her husband on a train trip around India.
Maureen McPherson
Has a background in Local Government. She is a Master of Behavioral Science and since her retirement has been involved in various community charities particularly around Education and Counselling.
Andrew Crighton
Mr Andrew Crighton. Andrew brings a deep understanding of poverty and its outcomes, chairing a highly respected night-shelter in the south of England. His experience of guiding Schools out of Special Measures brings insights into how difficult situations must and can be remedied.
